Use energy efficient light bulbs. Compact fluorecent lights are available for lamps, chandeliers and high hats. Replace energy saving dimmers for your standard light switches - the bonus is that you can create the lighting ambiance you want !
Air conditioners. Look for high seasonal energy efficiency ratio ratings (SEER). Take a look at variable speed fans with high SEER ratings.
Germicidal lights and electronic filtration systems thoroughly clean the air, reducing illnesses and allergy problems.
